Friends of the Office of State Archaeology Event

We encourage Tribal members to attend an event presented by the Friends of the Office of State Archaeology (FOSA) – “Change, Continuity, and Collaboration: The Eastern Pequot History in Southeastern Connecticut,” on Saturday January, 25th 2014 at:

The event begins at 1:00 PM with the annual FOSA meeting followed by guest speaker Dr. Stephen Silliman, Professor of Anthropology at UMass Boston, at 2:00 PM. Dr. Silliman has been participating in a long-term collaboration with the Eastern Pequot Tribal Nation. The event is co-sponsored by, the CT State Museum of Natural History , the CT Archaeology Center and the Archaeological Society of Connecticut.
