This event is open to Eastern Pequot members and is free.
Schemitzun Pow Wow will be held on Saturday, August 25th and Sunday, August 26th, 2018. Eastern Pequot tribal members will receive free admission with their tribal ID.
The monthly membership meeting will be held on Saturday, August 25th at 9:30am on the reservation. This earlier time is to accommodate tribal members that want to participate in Schemitzun’s Grand Entry.

This Basketball Clinic is for Pequot Youth only (both Eastern and Western Pequots). The clinic will be held on the Mashantucket Pequot Reservation outside basketball courts. Help get the word out to children and parents from both EPTN & MPTN!

Legends Never Die Tribal Youth Basketball Clinic. Eastern and Western Pequot youth only.
Hosted by Eastern Pequot Eric Robinson of the New England Nightmare AAU BBall Organization and New London Youth Sports.
Also, Narragansett native & special motivational guest speaker Malik Champlain of Passion Hunger Drive will also be blessing the youth with his inspirational words.
Members – the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation is holding the 26th annual Schemitzun: A Feast of Green Corn and Dance, on August 26th and 27th, 2017. Entry to Schemitzun is open to the public and is free for Eastern Pequot tribal members with tribal I.D. We hope to see you there!
Members – please note that the Tribal Food Pantry is open on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month from 12 PM to 2 PM. The next food pantry is this Saturday, August 13th at the Longhouse.
Native Members and Friends – if you like Native crafts, consider attending the Medicine Bag workshop at the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation Community Center Tribal Lounge on January 22nd, 2015 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Participants must be Natives aged 18+ and the deadline for registration and payment of the $15 kit is January 4th. Seats are limited! Please note that the workshop and kits are always free to consumers of the MPTN-TVRP Program.
Native Family – if you are looking for jobs, career development and support, new skills or experience consider contacting the Rhode Island Indian Council, Inc. or the Connecticut Indian Council, Inc for programs supported by WIOA, the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.

All donations should be sealed with a sell by or use by date and labeled with the ingredients.
The Eastern Pequot Tribal Nation will provide emergency food to eligible members on
the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 12:00 to 2:00 at the Longhouse:
