The 2020 Tribal Council election has been postponed due to coronavirus. Nominations will take place at the Tribal Membership meeting on Saturday, August 22nd, 2020. The election will take place at the Tribal Membership meeting on Saturday, October 24th, 2020.
Eligibility criteria will still be based on attendance at Tribal Membership meetings from March 2019- March 2020 and the term for all open positions will run from October 2020- July 2023.
For Members Only: The Eastern Pequot Tribal Nation Annual Membership meeting will be held on the reservation on Saturday July 25, 2020 at 10:30am, rain or shine. Masks and social distancing will be required. Lunch will be provided by the tribe.
The tribe has a limited amount of Census T-shirts for members present at the meeting on a first come basis.
Elections have been postponed and the Eastern Pequot Tribal Nation Annual Pow Wow is canceled due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Brenda Geer will be handing out Census T-Shirts on the reservation on Saturday, June 13th from 10-11am.
Please bring a Picture ID as shirts will only be given to those that are present and on the tribal rolls.
Shirts will be given out on a first come, first serve basis and are only available in adult sizes.
During this distribution, you MUST wear a mask and practice social distancing.
